Serving up 'Hue Citadel miniature'

Relic shrines Gia Long Yuen was built in 1803, Gia Miao village, Ha Long, Ha Trung district, where the lord of the 9th, 13th king of the Nguyen Dynasty. This is the architectural monument, shrine of the Nguyen dynasty, was built on a large scale, particularly valuable in architecture and decorative art sculpture. The historians consider this relic is "Hue Citadel miniature."

According to historical documents, ancient ruins Yuen which includes many buildings are arranged on a circumference of 182 regional staff (approximately 50,000 m2), surrounded with lakes and brick bridge crossing. The outer ring has two cumulative grade wrapping, is like a castle. The space inside is divided into three areas: the middle of building shrines Nguyen Kim Nguyen and Nguyen Hoang. Over the volatility of historic shrines Yuen has been flattened, this only marks the foundation. However, through excavations archaeological reconnaissance gave an overview of the size, type, architecture and construction area of the ruins. That helped the embellished, fully restored with a scientific basis, relics returned to the inherent shape.
